AuraDesk is a Chrome extension that turns the new tab page into a calm, cinematic workspace with animated themes, ambient sound, lightweight planning tools, and optional visual effects.
What AuraDesk stores
- Your selected theme, language, sound preference, and effect settings
- Date-based to-do items created in the new tab experience
- Per-site disable preferences for optional on-page effects
This information is stored locally in your browser so AuraDesk can remember your setup between sessions.
What AuraDesk does not collect
- No account registration data
- No password or payment information
- No advertising identifiers
- No personal browsing history uploaded to AuraLab servers
- No sale of personal information
How permissions are used
- storage is used to save local settings and to-do items.
- tabs is used to show recent tabs inside the new tab page.
- host permissions and content scripts are used only for optional visual overlays and site-level on or off controls chosen by the user.
Data sharing
AuraDesk does not sell, rent, or transmit your personal data to AuraLab servers. When you open external links or shortcuts, you are visiting third-party services you selected yourself.
Data retention
AuraDesk keeps local settings and to-do entries on your device until you change them, clear your extension data, or uninstall the extension.
Feedback submissions
If you choose to send feedback through the AuraDesk feedback form, the information you submit, including your answers and any optional contact email, will be used only to review product feedback, improve AuraDesk, and reply when needed.
The feedback form is hosted through Tally, a third-party form processing service used to collect and review submitted feedback for AuraDesk.
